In his 13 year long acting career, Bollywood heartthrob Aditya Roy Kapur has dabbled in various genres. He aced romance with Aashiqui 2, won hearts with his performance in black comedy Ludo and got his first taste of action in Malang . But none of his characters have impressed us as much as his never seen before avatar in the trailer of his upcoming action thriller OM: The Battle Within. Ahead of the film’s release on 1st July, makers have now given us a brief glimpse of what looks like a gripping story.
The trailer begins with a mother losing one son while her other child does not remember her. This may look confusing, but only intrigues us to know more about this back story. We are then brought to the future where Aditya is Om , one of the best para commandos of India. He meets with an accident during a mission and forgets everything, except for his father Jackie Shroff, who has been kidnapped and has been accused of being a traitor to the country. Thus the search begins, with Sanjana Sanghi by Om’s side.
Not just Aditya but even Sanjana can be seen performing high octane action sequences in the trailer, which has left us wanting more. The story seems fresh, the on-screen pairing fits quite perfectly and Aditya is extremely convincing as para commando Om. We can’t wait for him to shine on the silver screen next month when the Kapil Verma directorial arrives in theatres!
