Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have a great escape after the sets of their film catches a terrifying fire

In what comes as a shocking development, the set of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor ’s untitled romantic-comedy film caught a blazing fire today (July 29). The terrifying incident happened at Andheri West’s Chitrakoot Studio in Link Road, Mumbai. The set was reportedly set up for Ranbir and Shraddha to shoot for a song from the film.

According to a news report in Mumbai Live, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were expected to resume shooting for the film in the next week so were saved from this mishap. Apart from this, there were also no casualties reported from the sets, fortunately. The report furthermore stated that a Level 2 fire was seen breaking out at the Chitrakoot Ground, near Sardar Bazaar.

The reports went on to state that two water tanks and ten fire engines were immediately rushed to the sets to diffuse the situation. Well, the news came across as truly worrying to all the fans of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Take a look at the video.

Boney Kapoor who is also a part of the film spoke about the frightening incident. Talking to Bombay Times about the same, he said, “Everyone’s okay. By God's grace there have been no casualties. Only lightning work was going on today. Everyone was preparing for tomorrow’s shoot. Shooting was to take place on this set tomorrow.”

Boney furthermore stated that nobody can detect the real reason behind the fire breaking out but it is said to have happened due to a short circuit possibly. The movie has been helmed by Luv Ranjan and marks Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s first collaboration for the big screen. Several leaked pictures and videos from the sets of the movie have gone viral on social media. These included BTS pictures and videos were especially from one of the romantic songs from the film picturized on Ranbir and Shraddha.
