Shah Rukh Khan gets rid of his ponytail for Rajkumar Hirani’s film; has been shooting since 3 days

Soon after returning to Mumbai from Spain after shooting Pathaan , Bollywood’s superstar Shah Rukh Khan wrapped up the shoot of Atlee’s next with actresses Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra . Well, recently when he attended Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor ’s wedding reception, fans eagerly waited to get a glimpse of his new look for Rajkumar Hirani ’s upcoming film, which went on floors a few days ago. Sadly, he was travelling in a heavily curtained car. But much to our delight, last night when SRK graced Baba Siddique's Iftaar party we finally got a good look at his new avatar.

Shah Rukh has ditched his ponytail, which he had been sporting since the last two years, and has even shaved his beard off. Buzz suggests that this is the superstar’s new look for Hirani’s film. In a report shared by ETimes, a source was quoted saying, “Shah Rukh Khan has already shot for Raju Hirani's film for about three days. There will be a change of location now for which the shooting schedule may see a gap of few days before SRK and his leading lady Taapsee Pannu go back to shooting for the film.”

Rumored to be an immigration drama, Hirani’s film not only marks his first project with SRK but is also the first time that the superstar will share the screen with talented actress Taapsee Pannu. If recent reports are to be believed, veteran actor Dharmendra has now been roped in to play Shah Rukh’s on-screen father in this film. While we are sure many loved SRK’s grunge look and found it sexy, fans can’t stop drooling over his new clean shaven avatar! We love it.
