After 5 long years of what seemed like a never ending wait for fans, Bollywood’s king Shah Rukh Khan finally returned to the silver screen with Pathaan . Despite zero promotions on reality shows and barely any interviews ahead of the release, the superstar managed to create buzz about his comeback film and made history! Pathaan broke all records by collecting over Rs 100 crore at the box office on day 1, emerging as the biggest opener in Hindi cinema with a non holiday release. Well, on day three the action entertainer continues to smash records.
On day 2 Pathaan minted Rs 70 crore, bringing the worldwide collection to Rs 235 crore. Well, there is good news for the superstar and his millions of fans! SRK’s comeback film has now crossed the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide with its massive collection on the third day. Sharing the same, movie industry tracker Ramesh Bala tweeted: “#Pathaan crosses ₹ 300 Crs Gross at the WW Box office in 3 days..” Meanwhile the all India early estimates is approximately Rs 34-36 crore net. This is proof of how much the world loves Shah Rukh and how desperately we were all waiting to see him back in action.

Also starring Bollywood’s reigning queen Deepika Padukone in the lead as a fellow spy along with handsome hunk John Abraham as the deadly antagonist, Pathaan has been helmed by War director Siddharth Anand. The film has received rave reviews and netizens were especially blown away by Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman Khan ’s dynamic cameo in the climax. He made a badass entry as RAW agent Tiger and helped Pathaan by fighting goons off in a killer action sequence. Seeing Shah Rukh and Salman together again after so many years was no less than a visual delight for audiences. Much to our delight, we will get to see them fight off baddies once again this year when Pathaan joins Salman in Tiger 3 in an extended cameo. Too much fun!
