Shamshera star Ranbir Kapoor takes ‘phata poster nikla hero’ seriously as he gives fans a warm surprise; watch

After being leaked on social media, the deadly poster of Ranbir Kapoor ’s upcoming film Shamshera was shared officially today morning by his co-star Vaani Kapoor and his wife Alia Bhatt . The Bollywood heartthrob, who was last seen in Sanju, will be playing a double role for the very first time in his career. Also starring Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist, the project is extremely special for fans as it marks Ranbir’s comeback to the silver screen after 4 long years.

Well, to make the day even more exciting for the audience, Ranbir decided to give them a surprise. A few fans were called to launch the film’s poster but there was a twist. As soon as they finished saying kind words for the actor as well as the upcoming film into the camera, Ranbir tore the poster which was right behind them and emerged in style. They had no idea that the actor was present at the venue! While some froze on seeing him, others broke down with tears of happiness in their eyes. He gave each of them a warm hug and left them with a big smile on their faces.

At the end of this clip, which was shared by YRF on social media, Ranbir shared, “This was really a crazy, amazing, overwhelming experience for me. It also makes me realize that you work for these smiles, you work for the love that you receive when you meet your fans. My heart is filled with love, and I hope I can reciprocate it with Shamshera, releasing on 22nd July at a theatre near you.”
