Vicky-Katrina wedding: Salman Khan's family not invited to the wedding of the season, Arpita Khan Sharma reacts to rumours of attending

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal ’s impending nuptials are all the buzz on social media right now. With only days to go for the wedding festivities of this rumoured couple to begin in Rajasthan, Salman Khan ’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma has broken her silence on rumours of being invited to the most talked about wedding of the season which is expected to take place at the Six Senses resort Bhawana, near Ranthambore National Park.

There have been many reports which have claimed that Salman Khan along with his family were amongst the first few to have received the invitation to Katrina’s wedding as the actress shares a close bond with them. Arpita who is one of Katrina’s closest friends was contacted by India Today to comment on being invited to the wedding to which she replied to the portal, “We haven’t got any invite for the wedding.”

The wedding buzz has fans all pumped up about seeing this elusive couple finally making things official but much like their relationship the wedding will reportedly be a strictly ‘no media, no cameras’ affair. No official communication regarding the wedding has also been shared, making it abundantly clear that both Vicky and Katrina are not keen on publicising their big day.

A report had earlier said that Arpita and Alvira, Salman’s two sisters will be attending the wedding while the superstar may not be in attendance. A source close to the family further told India Today that no member of the EK Tha Tiger actor’s family has received an invite.

For those who might speculate that this is just another way of throwing people of the scent, the source did acknowledge that the wedding happening while adding that Katrina will resume shoot for Tiger 3 post her marriage. It was further said that Salman wishes nothing but the best for Katrina and there will be no awkwardness between them regarding this matter.

Katrina and Vicky will reportedly tie the knot between 7-9 December.
