Kartik Aaryan recently signed his next movie to be directed by filmmaker Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The actor is reportedly playing a street fighter in the movie. For the female lead role, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif are being considered by the makers as per the latest report.
Both Deepika and Katrina had shown interest in working with the Luka Chhupi actor in the past. While Deepika was almost being signed opposite Kartik in a film produced by Dinesh Vijan .Similarly, Katrina was to feature in a Red Chillies Entertainment film with Kartik but the projects didn’t happen for various reasons. According to Etimes, the makers are keen to cast either of these two actresses opposite Kartik.

Talking about the upcoming film, Kartik will be playing the challenging role of a street fighter for which he will undergo a major body transformation. The film will also mark Kartik’s second collaboration with Nadiadwala after ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’ which is in the making. Sumit Arora of ' 83 ' fame has penned the script and dialogues for the movie.

Apart from Kabir Khan’s movie, Kartik has other interesting projects in his kitty. The actor is currently shooting for Rohit Dhawan’s romantic comedy-drama Shehzada . It is the Hindi remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo . The film will see Kartik reuniting with her Luka Chupi co-star Kriti Sanon . Besides it, the actor has Shashanka Ghosh’s romantic thriller, Freddy opposite Alaya F . He also has Hansal Mehta’s Captain India, which is inspired by one of the successful rescue missions of India from a war-torn country.
