Republic Day 2018: Will On-Screen Brothers, Akshay Kumar And Sidharth Malhotra Clash With Each Other?

Everyone is eagerly waiting for the release of Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie 2.0. The film has many interesting features that have increased fans’ curiosity to watch it. The sequel to 2010 movie ‘Enthiran’ marks the debut of Bollywood star Akshay Kumar in Tamil cinema. It will see both Rajini and Khiladi Kumar pitted against each other. The movie will see the 66 year-old Rajnikanth romancing 25-year-old Amy Jackson.

More than anything else, it is the release date of the film that is making a lot of news. The movie which was earlier schedule to release during Diwali was postponed to January 25, 2018. The reason of shifting its release date was that the makers did not want it to clash with Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal Again’, which is releasing around the same time.

However, the makers have faced the similar situation that they faced at the time when they were releasing it during Diwali. If they release the film on January 25 it will clash with Sidharth Malhotra's ‘Aiyaary’ which is scheduled to release on January 26, 2018. Now it seems like that the clash between two films may be averted. Considering the hype around ‘2.0’ and Akshay and Rajini’s fans, makers of ‘Aiyaary’ have decided to postpone their film.

Even Sidharth and Akshay, who share a close bond, met in London and talked about the same. Sidharth is in London shooting for Aiyaary.
