Aadesh Shrivastava’s Wife Vijeyta Pandit Wants To Return To Acting

It’s been three months that Aadesh Shrivastava’s family has been mourning the untimely demise of the music composer and his wife Vijeyta Pandit hasn’t been able to overcome the pain still. The former actress says that she spends most her time thinking about happy moments that they had spent together. “Aadeshji was a wonderful husband. I still remember the day he asked my father for my hand. He was a hero to his sons, thinking about him is painful. It leaves me feeling depressed”, she told Mumbai Mirror. The actress hasn’t done any film from about a quarter of century but now she wants to get back into the industry, which she refers as her “extended family”. Vijeyta says that she wants to keep herself busy now.

“There were lots of offers but I was busy with my family. The kids were young and needed me around. Now that they are grown up, I want to start working again”, she said, adding, “I don't want to do just anything. It has to be something meaningful and if it comes along, I can think of returning to acting in the new year”. Vijeyta Pandit had made her debut in 1981 film Love Story, starring opposite Kumar Gaurav. Later, she featured in another love story titled Mohabbat, which had released in 1985. “That was one of Aadeshji's favourite films, he really liked my performance in it”, she said.

She also revealed that Aadesh wanted their sons to well in the industry and that she is quite keen on living his dream. “Aadeshji wanted our firstborn, Anivesh, who is 19 now, to be an actor. Music is in his blood, my son is a fabulous singer and composer, but his passion is acting. His father too wanted to see him on screen. He's talented and a super dancer”. About her younger son, Avitesh, who is 16, she said, “He plays the piano and I want him to join the film industry too”.
