Aamir Khan Clears The Air On Tiff With Thugs Of Hindostan Co-Star Katrina Kaif!

Ever since Aamir Khan’s ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ was announced, the film has been making a lot of news, especially because of its cast. Though Aamir’s ‘Dangal’ daughter Fatima Sana Sheikh was roped in as the female lead, the hunt for the second leading lady was still on. It was rumoured that on Salman Khan’s insistence, Katrina Kaif was signed as the second lady.

When the entire cast was finalised, the news of Aamir’s leading lady in the film starting doing rounds. Earlier, it was announced that Fatima will play Mr. Perfectionist’s romantic interest which did not go down well with audience considering that she played his daughter in ‘Dangal’. Later, it was announced that Katrina will romance the 52-year-old.

Soon after reports emerged that Fatima will be the film’s leading lady, while Katrina’s role would be of mere 10 minutes, which sparked off rumours of Katrina being upset with Aamir for giving more importance to fresher Fatima. During the trailer launch of Aamir’s next film ‘Secret Superstar’, which also stars Zaira Wasim, he was asked if there was truth of the tensions brewing between him and Kat, he said, “Absolutely not! It’s (the news) is untrue.” This is the not the first time that Katrina and Aamir are working together in a film. They have earlier worked together in ‘Dhoom 3’. Apart from Katrina, Fatima and Aamir, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
