Aamir Khan roped in for a special segment in Bombay Talkies

Celebrations of 100 years of Indian cinema would remain incomplete without a Khan in the casting couch ofBombay Talkies. Hence Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan has been signed up by the producers for a special segment in the movie.

The collection of four short films by some of the mosttalentedfilmmakers in the B-town, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee, are almost ready to be released and the first trailer of the movie has also garnered a positive response from viewers and critics. Now at the end of the day, Aamir Khan has been roped in as a special treat for viewers by producer Ashi Dua. A source talked about the latest development to a leading daily, "Getting Aamir Khan on board was a last-minute decision. Considering his contribution to our cinema and the occasion of the Bombay Talkies Project, we felt his presence was a must. He was our best-kept secret, until now."

Another source added, "Ashi has worked for many years to put this project together. When she pitched her idea to Aamir at his office, he readily agreed to be a part of it." The producer has maintained utmost secrecy about Aamir's role in the film, while Aamir too did not comment on the same.
