Abhay Deol Presented With The Valerian of Racism Award For Speaking Against Fairness Creams

And now the actor has spoken against fairness creams and racism that has not only shook Bollywood, but, also the whole nation. The actor was not only lauded in India for standing up for his beliefs, but has also got recognition from Hollywood. The makers of the Hollywood movie Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets honoured the actor with the Valerian of Racism trophy as he has never turned away from speaking against gender-based stereos in Hindi movies.
Abhay is very elated on getting the honour. A happy Abhay said, “I got an award for fighting racism! We have a long way to go and so help from anywhere is welcome. Valerian stands in solidarity with us!” Recently, Abhay posted some pictures of beauty creams, which have been endorsed by popular actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and others, with some sarcastic captions. On the work front, Abhay is all set to work in Dostana 2 and the Tamil movie, Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai.
