Abhay Deol Talks About His Bollywood Hiatus

Dev D actor Abhay Deol has returned to the silver screen after a gap of 2 years. His last film was ‘One by Two' which came out in 2014. Now, he can be seen on screen in the recently released ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’. The actor recently opened up about his hiatus and shared that travel, family and acting workshops kept him busy.

“I was travelling, I was in California and spent a lot of time there. My family is there and my mom is there right now. I had some friends in LA as well...So I spent a lot of time over there”, Abhay told IANS. He added, “I did a few acting workshops...So I did that. I would do another workshop hopefully soon...I spent some time with family. I hadn't done that for a while”.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Ali Fazal, Piyush Mishra and Diana Penty. It is a romantic comedy produced by Anand L. Rai and Krishika Lulla. Abhay is known for his roles in films like ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!’ and ‘Aisha’.
