Abhishek Chaubey rubbishes reports of bringing Shahid-Priyanka together

For everyone who thought actor Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra would come together on screen soon have a news to feel sad about. Director Abhishek Chaubey has rubbished stories of him signing ‘Piggi Chops’ for his next that has Shahid Kapoor in it.

The news didn’t start long before when Priyanka being on director’s wishlist did the rounds, but the filmmaker has declined any credibility in this. The Shahid-Priyanka pair was last seen in Kunal Kohli’s ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ when the stories of the two going out were on a high. For unknown reasons the couple maintained a distance ever since, therefore their coming together was some big news. The Ishqiya director said that no leading lady had been finalised as yet and the entire side cast is still to be chosen. That’s not all, the filmmaker apparently also rubbished the reports of the film being a ‘Sci-fiction’. With so much going in we only hope the film begins on a right track. Written by the director himself the film is titled ‘Udta Punjab’. We wonder if the director rubbishes this too.
