Acting’s caught up on Karan Johar it seems!

Iconic Producer/Director Karan Johar is reportedly all set to act again. While his acting debut is yet to come out, it seems that the Dharma Productions head has decided to have another outing as an actor.

It is reported that he is likely to play the role of a father in director’s Vikas Bahl’s next that stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Set in the backdrop of a ‘Wedding’, Karan is expected to play the role of a father who’s getting his son married. Shahid plays a wedding planner in this movie. The role of Karan Johar’s counter in law is expected to be played by Govinda. However the actor didn’t confirm the news and said he’ll take the final call after he meets Vikas.

As for Karan he is again going to be playing a senior role since he plays a Newspaper Editor in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ where his character is grey and villainous. The film features Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead and will release later this year.
