Aishwarya Rai Bags Best Actress Award For ‘Sarbjit’ At An International Film Festival!

Gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has added another feather in her hat as the 43-year-old actress has been honoured with the Best actress award at the International Film Festival and Awards of Australia for an outstanding performance in Omung Kumar’s ‘Sarbjit’. Although the film raked mixed responses but Rai was separately lauded. In the biopic, she played Dalbir Kaur, a sister, battling against the system to rescue  his brother from Pakistan jail.

Critic and Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, 'Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wins best actress for Sarbjit at IFFAA, Australia... Kudos to Omung Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, Sandeep Singh, Vashu Bhagnani'. Well, the recent award ceremony at the International film festival is a proof that she was just superb in the film. The film also featured Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadda and Darshan Kumar.

Aishwarya knows how to get into the skin of the character. There is no doubt! She definitely deserves this award for her promising performance in ‘Sarbjit’.
