Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to give stage performance for Uttarakhand flood victims

It was heard that a host of celebrities are likely to join the seven hour marathon event to lighten the miseries of the people affected by the Uttarakhand floods. If the latest buzz is to be believed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is getting ready to grab the eyeballs at the event.

As told by a source, “The actress will be performing to a medley of patriotic songs for the event. Abhishek Bachchan has also given his nod for the show.” On Tuesday Madhuri Dixit also made it to the shooting spot for filming the trailer of the dignified initiative ‘Saath Hai Hum Uttarakhand’. Madhuri has been deeply touched by the heart-rending stories of the little kids who have lost their family members to the Uttarakhand disaster. She has come forward to return the smiles on the faces of the affected kids.

Other Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhay Deol, Neha Dhupia and Bipasha Basu have also faced the camera for the promos. Several others like Ajay Devgan, Kajol, Anil Kapoor and John Abraham are likely to provide support to the cause. The source added further, “The ad revenue generated during the telecast will be channeled to not-for-profit bodies that are working to restore normalcy in the hilly region. The stars and all those associated with the on-ground event for the performances have done it for free to espouse the Uttarakhand cause.”
