Ajay Devgan and Deepika Padukone for Bajirao Mastani?

The news has just come in that actor Ajay Devgan has been roped in by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his dream project, Bajirao Mastani. Earlier, the conjectures were made about Shah Rukh Khan being a part of the film, but those talks never got any conformity. A confirmed input about Ajay stepping in is still to be made by the maker.

According to grapevine, Bhansali is also keen on having Deepika Padukone as the female lead of the film and may approach her soon. Ajay and Dippy have worked with Sanjay earlier also, but in different flicks. Ajay and SLB worked together for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) and Deepika has recently acted under his direction is Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.
