Akshay Kumar’s Boss character to have a voiceover by Amitabh Bachchan

Here comes some amazing news for Akshay Kumar fans. After enthralling his audience with captivating stunts in the Boss trailer, now Akshay’s character in the film will have a voiceover and an introduction by none other than the megastar of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan.

The idea came to the makers’ mind when they started scripting the film as they believed that none other than Big B can do enough justice to give a larger-than-life portrayal of the central character of the action flick. When the script was sent to Big B he loved the plan and immediately gave his nod to the Boss makers. Akshay said, "It is an honour and privilege to have a legend like Amitabh Bachchan to introduce my character in 'Boss'. I have been his biggest fan since childhood and have even had the pleasure of working with him. He is an institution by himself,"

Bachchan was given the script quite early keeping his busy schedule in mind. The Bollywood biggie made out time to finish the dubbing job at the earliest possible and the entire process was over in only 30 minutes. As per producer Ashwin Varde, "I have known Mr Bachchan for years now because of my journalism background. But more importantly, I have grown up on his films. The reason why I am in movies today is because of him. When I called him and requested him to be a part of 'Boss', he agreed. It's like a dream come true to have a legend like him giving an introduction to the film.” The Anthony D'souza-directed film is slated to release on October 16.
