Akshaye Khanna’s Look In ‘Dishoom’ Is Being Kept Under Wraps?

The shoot of multi-starrer ‘Dishoom’ was wrapped up a couple of days back. One of the most anticipated films of 2016, the flick features Varun Dhawan, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem and Akshaye Khanna. The cast of the film interacted with the media after wrapping up the film, however, Akshaye Khanna was missing.

Akshaye’s absence from the press meet gave birth to many speculations. The makers also preferred to dodge the questions regarding his absence. The Race actor will be playing the villain in the Rohit Dhawan directorial and it is being said that he was not convinced with his role and suggested some changes to the makers.

However, a source close to the film’s unit shared that the makers don’t want to disclose the actor’s look. He said, "This is a deliberate measure to keep Akshaye under wraps. It is in keeping with his image of staying away from the limelight. The makers are making elaborate plans to bring him into focus when the film's trailer launches and want him to take centre stage only then. So, for now, they want him to lie low as he normally does. It suits him as well as the makers". The flick has been bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner and will hit the screens on July 29.
