Alia Bhatt And Vicky Kaushal Start Preparing For Meghna Gulzar’s Next

Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal have been approached by filmmaker Meghna Gulzar to star in her next. This is the first time that both the actors will be sharing screen space with each other. According to reports, the two have also started preparing for their roles.

The yet-to-titled film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka's book 'Calling Sehmat'. The movie is a war drama set in 1971 where Ali will essay a role of a Kashmiri woman who is married to a Pakistani Army Officer, played by Vicky. Since the film requires both the actors to get their dialects as well as mannerism correct, therefore they have joined workshops to help them get into the skin of the character.

The flick will go on floors by the end of this month. Meghna Gulzar’s last film was Talvar, which was based on Aarushi Talwar murder case. The movie was a box office and was praised by audience as well as critics.
