Alia Bhatt Wants To Settle Down Early In Life

Alia Bhatt has given gave three back-to-back hits last year with Kapoor & Sons, Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi. The actress’ recently released flick with Varun Dhawan, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, also earned huge bucks at the box-office. After delivering back-to-back hits and working hard for so long, she is on a break.

After the break, the Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya actress will be back on the sets with Ayan Mukerji’s Dragon with Ranbir Kapoor. However, talking about settling down, the actress has this to say, “I want to settle down early in life because I have an advantage of having started off (in career) very early. That way (getting married), I can get done with it and continue (in my career). Also, I don’t want to settle down too late in life because that also has it’s own issues. But honestly, I am not thinking about it or planning as of now”.

Being a self-confessed Kareena Kapoor fan, she praised Bebo for continuing working even after marriage and having a child. She said, “Earlier we used to say that an actress’ shelf life lasts only until she gets married. But I don’t think that’s true anymore. That has completely changed especially with the way Bebo has gone about her marriage and even her pregnancy. Even after getting married, she did really well in a few tough films. And now, although she delivered a baby a few months back, she is readying to get back to shooting. I think that’s the way it should be for an actor. You shouldn’t stop to acting just because you settle down, and I also don’t plan to go that way”.

Apparently, the actress is in a relationship with actor Siddharth Malhotra. So is the wedding bells ringing soon?
