Aman Verma’s Father Passes Away; Wedding Postponed

Aman Verma’s wedding card was doing the rounds on cyberspace last month as the TV actor was all set to tie the knot with his girlfriend Vandana Lalwani. But due to a mishap, the wedding, which was scheduled to take place on April 20, has been postponed. The former Bigg Boss contestant has pushed back his wedding date as his father Col. Y.K. Verma passed away in a car accident.

The incident took place about a week back. Reportedly, Aman’s father was quite excited for his son’s wedding. He had been longing to see his 44-year-old son tie the knot. Talking to a leading online portal, the Baghban actor said, “It was a sudden death. We are not in a good state of mind”.

Announcing his wedding date, Aman had previously said in a statement, “We have locked that date as number 2 has been lucky for me. Our families are in consultation with the pandits, and we will decide the various functions and the venues for them soon. For me, marriage is a close-knit affair between two families. I don’t believe in huge pomp and show and inviting 5,000 people. It’s just a waste of money. We have invited close family and friends and few people from the industry”. Aman Verma got engaged to Vandana Lalwani last year in December.
