Amitabh Bachchan About His Biopic: ‘It Will Be A Flop’

One name that stands big in the entertainment industry is undoubtedly Amitabh Bachchan. The veteran actor who has inspired the whole generation of actors doesn’t find the idea of a biopic on him interesting. Instead, he says that if ever a biopic will be made on him, “It will be a flop”.

Talking to PTI, Big B said, “I don't think a film should be made on me. I am not in that trend (biopic). I don't think I am capable of that. It will be a flop”. The Baghban actor said that rather than a biopic on him, a biopic on his father Harivanshrai Bachchan is a better idea. “If someone wants to make a documentary on him, I am okay. But I don't think personally I would make one on him”, he said.

When asked who can take his place in the industry, the Piku actor said, “People have their own style. They do good work and inspire people in their own way. It is not fair to say who can take my place. I take inspiration from Dilip Kumar, Waheeda Rehman. Today, the youngsters look upto Salman, Shah Rukh, Aamir, Ranbir, Hritik Roshan”.
