Amitabh Bachchan pays a visit to Dilip Kumar at Lilavati Hospital

The megastar of the B-town, Amitabh Bachchan, visited the veteran actor Dilip Kumar on Monday at Lilavati Hospital. Kumar has been undergoing treatment in the hospital since his heart attack which happened last week.

He is recovering now and responding well to the treatment and is expected to be discharged very soon. Amitabh, who worked with Kumar in Shakti, tweeted after his visit, "Went and visited Dilip Saheb, Yusuf Khan, Dilip Kumar my icon inspiration, who lies in hospital.. He is well and recovers!” Earlier Kumar’s relatives also posted a video of the veteran actor as his wife Saira Banu was feeding him on his hospital bed. A host of celebrities including Shabana Azmi, Farida Jalal, Asha Parekh, Raza Murad, Minister Rajeev Shukla and others have also called on the actor at the hospital. The 90-year-old yesteryear actor expressed his gratitude to all his fans for their kindness and support in his tough times.
