Amitabh Bachchan’s Yudh out with its first poster

The year-long wait for Yudh is over. The announcement about Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s television debut was made last year and since then his fans have been waiting for this new innings in the megastar’s life. The wait is over as the first-look poster of the television show has been released creating a huge buzz among Big B’s fans.

Last week a mega event in the Capital launched the poster while a special meeting was arranged between the media and Bachchan, Sarika, Anurag Kashyap and Shoojit Sircar. Bachchan, who is quite a popular figure on social networking platforms, has managed to create a lot of buzz by constantly writing about the show. A directorial venture by Ribhu Dasgupta, this production by Endemol India takes pride in its high-quality cast of Sarika, Kay Kay Menon, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and many others. A lot of talented theatre personalities are also part of the show including Ayesha Raza, Zakir Hussain, Yusuf Hussain, Mona Vasu and Sanjay Gandhi. Beginners like Aahana Kumra, Pavail Gulati and Avinash Tiwari will also receive huge exposure through this show being in central roles. Shoojit is the creative consultant for the project while Kashyap is the series director. Endemol India’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Deepak Dhar, said, “Yudh is a high-octane fiction drama with great production values and a gripping original script.”
