Sonam Kapoor's Rumoured Boyfriend, Anand Ahuja Chose Her Saree For Cannes Day 1!

Recently at the 70th annual Cannes Film Festival, Sonam Kapoor turned heads with her elegant beauty and stunning red carpet appearances. She surely impressed fans with her looks at the Cannes but little did we know that the saree that the actress wore on her first day in Cannes was none other than her rumoured beau Anand Ahuja’s choice. Yes you heard that right!

Sonam wore a colorful saree on her first day at the film festival. Reportedly, Ahuja recommended the Kapoor sisters to the designers for the dress. As per a source, “It was Sonam’s beau Anand Ahuja who put Sonam and Rhea on to the designers — Mriga Kapadiya and Amrit Kumar. Anand knew them as he’s in the garment business himself. He recommended them to the Kapoor sisters. Sonam likes to promote local Indian work so she decided to wear the Shimma Saree. Anand was pleased as punch that the Kapoor sisters had liked his choice”.

We must tell, even Anand has a great fashion taste like his lady love. The couple is going strong and Anand was even seen with the actress when she received National Award for Neerja. Apart from Sonam, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Deepika Padukone too made impressive appearances on the red carpet.
