Anil Kapoor signs Nayak Returns, flick to have a fresh plot

Star actor Anil Kapoor has done the paperwork for Nayak Returns and he has said that the film will not be a sequel. The actor confirmed, “I have just signed Nayak 2 and it is my responsibility to put the project together. It is not a sequel to Nayak. The film is completely a fresh subject but it is something similar... The character is same. We will try to do something special.”

The first part, Nayak was released in 2001. The flick featured Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever and Saurabh Shukla in the key roles under the direction of S. Shankar. At present, Anil is busy in promoting his first TV show ever, 24. The show will be broadcasted from October 4.
