Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos is a full-on musical

Anurag Basu’s magnum opus, Jagga Jasoos, has been on everyone’s watch list ever since its trailer was released. Since Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have a huge fan following, therefore fans cannot wait to watch this adventurous flick. What has increased people’s curiosity more is that unlike other movies, the film’s trailer has been expressed only in a lyrical form without any dialogues.

After a long delay in its release date, with number of times the date being postponed, the comedy entertainer has finally got a release date. It is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 14, 2017. Since its release date is near, therefore the team has started promoting the movie.

When asked from Anurag whether the movie is sans dialogue, he said, “Yes, Jagga Jasoos is a full-on musical and everything in the film is said in a musical form.” On being asked whether the flick is a full-blown Broadway-styled musical in Hindi, Basu replied, “I wouldn’t say it’s a Broadway-styled musical. It is far more Indian in tone and treatment”. The ‘Barfi’ director is all praise for Pritam who has scored the music for the movie.
