Anushka Sharma or Deepika Padukone in Kabir Khan’s next film?

A lot of buzz have been going around that Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone were reportedly eyeing Kabir Khan's next and were competing with each other to feature in the same. The Mid Day Hitlist team quotes a source as saying, “There have been many speculations about who will be part of this film.  The fact is that apparently both Anushka and Deepika were in consideration for a role. But looks like Deepika is likely to win this race”.

Kabir Khan’s next supposedly titled, ‘Tubelight’, will go on floors in just 25 days. The critically acclaimed filmmaker intends on developing an intense storyline, set within political backdrop. This film will also see the 50-year-old actor teaming up with his brother Sohail Khan after 6 years. The duo has worked together in films like 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya','Veer, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna' and 'Heroes'.  

While, Anushka will be seen opposite Salman in ‘Sultan’, which hits the screens on Eid this year, Deepika has not yet done a film with the ‘Dabangg’ Khan. The Bajirao Mastani actress has recently returned to India after shooting for her Hollywood debut 'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage' with Vin Diesel. Deepika will reportedly begin shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Padmavati' with beau Ranveer Singh in September.
