Anushka Sharma unwell, couldn’t attend IPL finale

Anushka Sharma, who was supposed to attend IPL finale to promote her upcoming film Dil Dhakadne Do with her co-stars, was absent at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar, on the other hand, were present at the Kolkata-leg of the promotions. The Band Baaja Baaraat actress isn’t well and hence couldn’t make it to the city.

Anushka's publicist revealed the reason why she couldn’t attend the promotional activities. “Anushka Sharma has taken ill suddenly after completing her film promotions today and has been advised by the doctor to rest completely for a day or two as she is exhausted and is showing signs of effects of heat, so that she can resume the promotional activities soon. She regrets she will not be able to travel to Kolkata as planned due to this”.

Anushka was quite upset that she couldn’t join her co-stars in Kolkata. She tweeted, “Oh guys feeling terrible bout being sick & missing out on the fun with d boys! Will bounce back & join the fun soon”. While Anushka was not present at the event, Ranveer Singh, her rumoured ex-boyfriend, praised her at the event.
