Is she really? That is exactly how fans are reacting on hearing that Deepika will be walking Cannes red carpet this year. Deepika has replaced Katrina Kaif as the brand ambassador of a leading cosmetics brand, which is already endorsed by Bollywood beauties Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and fashion diva Sonam Kapoor. Fans are you reading this? Deepika might walk the red carpet of the 70th annual Cannes Film Festival, which will be held between 17th and 28th May this year. While Aishwarya is pretty much a Cannes veteran and Sonam has been nailing it since the last few years, this year’s Cannes will mark Deepika’s comeback to the French red carpet after 7 years. If it really happens, fans will be delighted to witness yet another international outing of the actress. On the work front, Deepika is currently filming for upcoming magnum opus, Padmavati. Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also features Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
