Arjun injures himself on the sets of Tevar

Newbie Arjun Kapoor is basking in the success of 2 States. Along with praises, the talented actor has been receiving lucrative offers since then. Currently Arjun is busy shooting for his upcoming film Tevar but according to the latest reports, the actor injured his lower back while shooting for an item number with actress Shruti Haasan.

A source from the film’s unit says, “It was a three-day schedule and we were shooting in Film City. On the second day of the shoot, Arjun hurt his lower back while performing a particular step and soon after, we had to halt shooting for a couple of hours as he was in pain. But after some time, we resumed shooting as we have a deadline to meet and no more dates were available.”

The source further adds, “We would have been in big trouble if the shooting was cancelled because we don’t have any more dates from Arjun and Shruti. Luckily, a doctor was called on the sets and after taking some pills, Arjun was feeling better. He then said that he will continue shooting and that’s how we completed the shoot.” The actor took to a micro-blogging site and wrote about his injury. He tweeted, "Ok for the record me n my back r just fine..one of the most random articles I have read recently about myself.. Btw Tevar s last day today.." Directed by Amit Sharma, Tevar is supposed to be remake of 2003 hit Telugu film Okkadu.
