Arjun Kapoor desires to play a politician on screen

Arjun Kapoor has so far played brave roles in his previous films like Ishaqzaade and Aurangzeb. Even his upcoming next, Gunday will present him as a tough guy. Now, the muscle actor has expressed his wish to play a politician on screen. He said, “I find politics very interesting. So maybe a biopic on a politician… because they have so many facets to their personality. While in the biopic of an actor there is not much to explore – their personal and professional life. I would like to do politically based biopic if possible.”

The 28-year-old star has also said that he has not been approached for a biopic till now, but now as his wish is out, one never knows he may appear as a political leader in a film in the near future. Arjun has showed that he is good at his work via his flicks, and is now keen on doing more interesting work. He stated, “I don’t want to play an actor on screen. I would like to play an interesting character, but I have never thought about who it should be. I would like play someone from our history may be someone from the freedom movement or post the freedom era…to see their journey and why they did and all.”
