The Character And Script Are What Excite Me: Kriti Sanon On Bareilly Ki Barfi

Kriti Sanon will soon be seen in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ where she shares screen space with Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana. For the first time, the actress will be playing a de-glam role of a small town girl. Her character will be of a free spirited Uttar Pradesh girl named Bitti.

Talking about her role, the actress shared, “For me, it’s the script. It’s the character that excites me. And that’s how I choose my films. I always want to explore new things as an actor”. She added that her character will have a UP dialect that she is learning. The actress was last seen in ‘Raabta’ where she shared screen space with Sushant Singh Rajput.

‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ is being directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. It will hit theatres on August 18. The film is an adaptation of a French book titled, Ingredients of Love. The script has been written by Nitesh Tiwari and Shreyas Jain. ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ is being produced by Junglee Pictures BR Studios.
