Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to be promoted in 4 major cities in a ground-breaking way

Farhan Akhtar is set to embark upon a special promotional tour for his upcoming release Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The tour will comprise four major cities, Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad and Jaipur, where special promotional events will be organised.

A close source revealed, "Ever since the promotions started, everyone has been asking Farhan about the practice that went into playing the role of Milkha Singh. That's why the makers have decided to give the audiences a chance to watch him run a marathon and participate with him." The mini-marathon will stretch from 3 to 5 kilometers. The source added further, "Many school and college students will be running with Farhan. They were selected via contests held by the makers recently."

A spokesperson from Viacom 18 Motion Pictures confirmed the news, "The curiosity to see Farhan running a marathon is at its highest. He has been able to transcend boundaries and has become the Milkha Singh of celluloid." Releasing this Friday, the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra-directed film will see Farhan enact the role of athlete Milkha Singh. Farhan went through painstaking physical training to get the perfect physique like that of an athlete and it will be a delight for his fans to watch him run live. Sonam Kapoor plays the love interest of Farhan in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
