Bigg Boss Tamil: Oviya consulted psychiatrists thrice before exiting

It was the most unpredictable week on Bigg Boss Tamil. The show’s favorite Oviya broke a million hearts but at the same time earned respect for choosing to walk out of the show, much to the surprise of her fans, or should one say army. Nearly after six weeks since the show went on air, Oviya exited the show on Saturday after she confessed her love for her co-inmate Aarav, and said that she was unable to keep herself away from him. Although she said she will try and keep her feelings aside for Aarav and focus on the show, she however changed her mind and decided to leave the show. Her love for Aarav was so uncontrollable that she even consulted Bigg Boss psychiatrists thrice in the last week.

On deciding to leave the show, she said she earned love and respect through her army of followers. “This love people have shown me is real. I didn’t expect to be loved so much when I came in. It has made me responsible and I promise to give it back to the society through some welfare activity,” Oviya told the audience. Host Kamal Haasan said Oviya was embraced by everybody despite her flaws. When Haasan asked her if she would like to say anything before exiting the show, she said, “I love you so much, Aarav.” Oviya army, as her fans like to call herself, were heartbroken on Friday to see her in emotional distress, amid rumours that she tried to drown herself in a swimming pool. Haasan wished Oviya well and she said the show had made her a better person. Haasan went on to add that she made a right decision to walk out, and said that love is a state of mind and not a barter system. Inmate Snehan was in tears as Oviya express her desire to leave, while Bindu Madhavi and Raiza were caught crying on camera for Oviya. Amid stiff protest from audiences, Oviya exited the show.

The show took a detour when Julie, the only non-celebrity in Bigg Boss, was evicted this week, much to the surprise of everybody. Unlike Oviya’s exit, audiences and fans on social media were happy that Julie was kicked out. Haasan handled Julie’s eviction with such grace, and he was lauded for handling the whole situation as effortlessly as possible. While Haasan received brickbats in the beginning of the show as its host, over the weeks he has won over audiences and has proved why he is one of the finest artists of this country.
