Bollywood actress Laila Khan not hiding in Dubai, killed last year itself: Police

Unravelling the mystery behind the disappearance of small-time Bollywood actress Laila Khan since February last year, Jammu and Kashmir police has said that the actress and her family members have not taken refuge in Dubai but were actually murdered. The information was revealed by the Pakistani-origin heroines friend Parvez Ahmed Tak, who was arrested a couple of weeks ago from Jammu for alleged terror links. Tak said that Laila, who was last seen in movie Wafaa with Rajesh Khanna, her mother Saleena Patel, sister Azmina, brother and a cousin were killed on February 4, 2011, by three men in Mumbai for their money and property worth crores of rupees. Earlier, it was reported that the actress, whose real name was Reshma Patel had connections with terrorists and she had fled out of country on a fake passport. The actress first time came under the lens in the Delhi High Court blast probe after police found that the Mitsubishi Outlander (MH02-AY-7867), used by terrorists to ferry explosives was registered in Lailas mothers name. Later, the SUV was traced to Parvezs rented shop in Kishtwar on May 28, 2012, and then the entire story was revealed. It was also being alleged that Laila had conducted a recce of Mumbai and compiled a list of places and maps, which she reportedly handed over to the Lashkar-e-Toiba. However, Tak, who is going to be taken into custody by the Maharashtra Police for further interrogation, has so far changed his statements many times, thus it couldnt be ascertained what was the real reason behind Lailas murder.
