Bollywood bigwigs dazzle People’s Choice Awards show

Bollywood’s first ever People’s Choice Awards was a star-studded event attended by who's who from the film industry, television and sports.Heroinestar Kareena Kapoor made her first post marriage public appearance looking stunning in an elegant greenish gown at the award ceremony. Besides the newly turned Begum, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor, veteran actress Hema Malini, Sameera Reddy, Madhuri with her husband Dr Sriram Nene, TV queen Ekta Kapoor, Prabhudeva, Subhash Ghai and Salman Khan have also attended the event.

Priyanka, who performed to a medley of songs from Yash Chopra's films, said, "Yashji will never say action or cut to me but at least I could payshraddhanjalito him...". Amitabh Bachchan too was present on the occasion. Small screen biggies Ram Kapoor, Sakshi Tanwar, Dilip Joshi, Anup Soni and Vijender were also spotted. At the popular award format where winners are decided purely by the people and not by any jury, Yogeshwar Dutt, Gagan Narang and Sushil Kumar were felicitated by. The People Choice Awards will be aired in November.
