Box Office: Hunter floats up, Dilliwali Zaalim Girlfriend sinks

While the box office this weekend wasn’t expected to light itself up with huge numbers, the results seems to have shaped up just the way it was anticipated. Both low budget releases of the week remained stumpy.

While Phantom’s Hunterrr did churn some numbers post the opening day, the figures still didn’t really make much of an impact. After opening to a low 1.23 crores, the film picked up a little through the weekend and earned around 5 crores in total. On the other hand, Divyendu Sharma starrer Dilliwali Zaalim Girlfriend saw a dismal fate at the box office. The film couldn’t even hit the 1 crore mark on any day of its opening weekend and totalled under 2 crores. The ticket counters will now have to hope for bigger releases to excel in days to come. 

Meanwhile it was Anushka Sharma’s NH10 that still remained most viewer’s first choice and drew around more money in the bank. The film has now crossed the 25 crore mark. Dum Laga Ke Haisha in its fourth weekend collected about 2 crores and now stands at a collection of 27 crores.
