Chitrangada Singh on her divorce row: It is not true, we were at the court for the property dispute

It was earlier reported that long-time married couple Chitrangada Singh and her golfer husband Jyoti Randhawa is seeking a divorce and a case has been filed in a Gurgaon court. But as the latest reports say, the actress in question Chitrangada has totally brushed off any such happening in her life.

The 37-year-old actress confirmed that she along with her husband had to attend the court for a property dispute, an internal settlement. Chitrangada dismissed all the latest speculations over her troubled married life and impending divorce, while talking to PTI, "It is not true. We were at the court for the property dispute, an internal settlement. And there were speculations because of that.” A close source also said that the actress and her family are quite annoyed with the false assumptions going on.

Chitrangada, who had a successful Bollywood debut with Sudhir Mishra's critically acclaimed film Hazaaron Khwaishen Aisi in 2003, took a break from her career from 2005 to 2008, and then made her comeback with Onir's romantic-comedy Sorry Bhai. The actress tied the knot with golfer Jyoti in 2001 and reports used to come in that their marriage life is not going strong, though denied repeatedly by the actress. But this time media reports showed that their differences have gone to the highest extent and finally they are heading for a divorce. Hope all goes well between the gorgeous couple, as insisted by the actress herself.
