Comedy Nights With Kapil Sharma Might Air On Another Channel

It was reported a while back that Kapil Sharma’s popular comedy show is set to go off air. In the past, the actor-comedian had urged the channel to convert it into a seasonal show, instead of an episodic one, as he needed a break from the hectic shooting schedule. Now, rumours claim that the show might air on another channel altogether.

A source close to Kapil says, “Things are still up in the air. Kapil is currently out of town, as he is shooting for an ad campaign. He has been doing TV projects continuously for nine years now. He wants to take stock of things and plan ahead. Once he returns, he will take a call [on whether the show will air on another channel or not]. He might take a break from TV, as he has a few film offers in the pipeline.”

When contacted, Kapil said, “Nothing has been finalised yet. Let’s see.”
