Confirmed! This Bollywood Actor To Make A Biopic On Shuttler P.V. Sindhu

Last year at the 2016 Summer Olympics, Pusarla Venkata Sindhu made India proud by becoming the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal in Badminton. While we have already seen many Bollywood stars portraying the role of sports personalities and portraying their story on screen, Sindhu will also join the bandwagon soon. Sonu Sood, who turned producer with his maiden production, 2 In 1, will make a biopic on the shuttler P.V. Sindhu.

In a statement, Sonu said, “It feels great to make a biopic on P.V. Sindhu. It’s a story of a girl who have inspired millions of Indians and given a message that everyone can dream big and not only dream but achieve it too by working hard. It’s a journey that everyone has to know and be inspired”.

After knowing about the biopic, Sindhu couldn’t control her happiness and said she felt honoured. “I am very honoured and pleased to know that Sonu Sood has decided to make a biopic on my journey. I’m very impressed with the thorough research that the team has done on my biopic for the last eight months. They have written a script which I am sure will inspire millions of Indians and our youngsters to dare to dream and achieve glory for the country in spite of all the hardships and hurdles that we all face in our journey”, the 21-year-old said.

Sindhu learnt Badminton under the direction of her coach Pullela Gopichand.
