D-Day trailer launched, Rishi Kapoor’s look to surprise all

DAR Motion Pictures has finally launched the official trailer of Nikhil Advani’s directorial D-Day on Thursday. The film has Rishi Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Irrfan Khan, Huma Qureshi, Nasser and Shruti Haasan in the main roles.

For the first time Arjun Rampal will share an onscreen chemistry with Shruti Haasan in D-Day but the most interesting factor of the film would be Rishi Kapoor’s look which is expected to leave everyone astonished. He will bear a resemblance to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in the film. A joint production by DAR Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment Private Limited, D-Day will explore the lives of 4 unrecognised heroes from different mediums of life, who keep going with a common goal.

From the first looks revealed, all the actors look quite promising in their well-defined roles. It’s expected that they will leave an unforgettable impression on our mind with their outstanding performances. As told by Advani, “My film is about the most wanted man in India. The story is about an operation that takes place in Karachi to bring this man back to Indian shores. The idea for this movie came from a conversation that I had with my driver while we were stuck in traffic. I was reading about Osama bin Laden being captured and told the news to my driver. He turned to me and said, `if they can do it why can`t we`. That got me thinking.” The film which has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will hit the cinemas on July 19.
