Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is not only theBigg Bossof box office but he is also the king of social networking sites with having the highest number of fan following on Facebook, Twitter & YouTube. A recent research by a channel has revealed that Salman is far ahead in popularity on social networking sites than megastar Amitabh Bachchan and BollywoodbadshahShah Rukh Khan.

Experts at Asterii Analytics, who have done the research, said, “We used sophisticated web analysis tools to scan millions of pages on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, blogs and online forums to quantify the total volume of buzz and conversations on our stars. A specially designed four phase methodology was used. A shortlist of 30+ possible candidates was developed in the first phase. We developed 25 parameters to rank the candidates on the total volume of buzz. Using this 4 phase process we came to a single score and the top three candidates were Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. And Salman Khan emerged as the winner with a consistently high margin.” According to the experts, with over 7,516,597 followers on Facebook, 3,266,882 followers on Twitter, about 60,567 videos on YouTube and 2,774 followers on Google+, Salman won the top spot. Not only this, the superstar also has fan club pages on Facebook and Twitter with over 757,057 and 577,919 followers respectively.
