Deepak Dobriyal: There are two people - Madhavan and Salman Khan - who give space to their co-stars

Actor Deepak Dobriyal recently dazzled the audience with his mind-boggling performance in Tanu Weds Manu returns. The Dabbang 2 actor gave credits to his co-star R. Madhavan and superstar Salmaan Khan for giving opportunities to character actors to work in the Hindi film industry. Deepak has worked in movies like Gulaal, Delhi 6, Omkara, Maqbool, The Blue Umbrella and Not a Love Story.

"There are two people - Madhavan and Salman Khan - who give space to their co-stars. It is because of them that the trend of increasing the length of role of actors, who are doing well in their films, is finding inroads in Bollywood. They always emphasise on giving more scenes to good actors”, said the actor.

"I would say Madhavan's involvement had a big role in how the character of Pappi Singh shaped up in the film. He used to clap and appreciate my performance in front of everyone. That filled me up with energy”, said the Star Guild Awards winner, while talking about the encouragement he received from Madhavan.
