Deepika May Romance With One Of These Actors In ‘Padmavati’

Speculations surrounding the starcast of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming movie ‘Padmavati’ are growing day by day. While Deepika and Ranveer are the only ones who have been finalised till now, but who will play Deepika's husband is still a big question. Reports claimed that the Tamasha actress had been uncomfortable romancing Vicky Kaushal in the historical drama. If rumours are to be believed, Shahid Kapoor has caught SLB's attention too, but according to the sources, filmmaker is in the process of finalising an industry biggie to play king to Deepika’s titular character.

Buzz is that SLB is confused between Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. A source has been quoted by TOI saying, “Bhansali is looking for an established actor since it is a powerful role has to stand up to Ranveer Singh’s grey character. There has to be some chemistry between the actor and Deepika, especially for intimate scenes”.

While the names for these actors are being tossed around, no official statement on the casting has arrived from the filmmaker. Since the project is scheduled to roll in September, the director is expected to take his decision shortly. Let’s see who makes the cut.
