Deepika Padukone confesses that she is eager to work opposite Salman Khan

Bollywood’s heartbeat Deepika Padukone has worked with many actors but now she has expressed her desire to work with industries’ dabangg actor Salman Khan. The 27-year-old says that her debut project could have been opposite Salman if she would have accepted his offer, “He offered me my first film when I was too young and I was not ready to be in front of the camera. I will always be grateful to him. Just the fact that he offered me a film was a great thing. It is taking a long time for us to come together on screen, so I think there is something special waiting for us.”

The actress shared her experience working with Kochadaiiyaan co-star superstar Rajinikanth saying that he is very enthusiastic and energetic, "I worked for three days with him. I took back from him is his simplicity, humility and child like attitude on sets. Despite achieving so much success he is so excited, enthusiastic and energetic even today, this is something that is inspiring to see." Deepika also talks about the upcoming romantic drama Ram Leela that Gujarat is explored in this film in a completely different and new way. The film is refreshing and unique.

She adds to her comments, "There are various ways of telling a love story, like he (Sanjay) did with Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas, and now he has come with a new love story Ram Leela, with a new background, new palette." The star cast of the film Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are excited as well as nervous. The project is said to be an adaptation of Shakespeare's love story Romeo and Juliet The film directed and co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is releasing on November 15.
