Deepika-Ranveer bonding together for Bhansalis Ram Leela

On the demand of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, leading actors of his next ambitious project Ram Leela, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, are spending quality time together. According to insiders, Bhansali wants them to have crackling on-screen chemistry in the film, which is a Bollywood version of the famous Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet, and for that it is necessary that the actors know each other well. Bhansali is a tough task master and he wants everything to be perfect. He didnt want Deepika and Ranveer to start shooting without knowing each other well, which would affect their on-screen chemistry. So he got both of them to do a workshop before the shoot, the source said. Deepikas manager says, Every day, Deepika has been devoting more than 12 hours to the workshop. She and Ranveer did not even know each other socially before this project. As Bhansali has been very particular about rehearsals, she has been rehearsing dialogues, scenes and is finalising her look for the film, which will roll in the first week of September.
