Deepika wanted to work in Rockstar with Ranbir

On one hand ex-couple Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan doesn’t even want to talk about each other and on the other, Deepika Padukone confesses her desire to work opposite ex-flame Ranbir Kappor. In an interview with a leading daily, the Finding Fanny actress said, “I wish I had got a chance to do Rockstar. I’d have loved to do the film. It was a fantastic film. I am fascinated by Imtiaz and then there is Ranbir, who again is supremely talented and I have worked with both of them individually”.

Unlike most of the ex-lovers in Bollywood, this couple, who broke up after one year of dating, looks quite comfortable in each other’s company. Talking about her relation with Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika said, "No matter how much we move on in our lives and no matter how comfortable we keep telling people we are working with each other, the question will keep coming up. But the point is, it was, is and will always be a very special equation that we share. Something that one can't explain and describe in too many words".  

The duo has previously worked in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, where they were seen having a sparkling chemistry on screen. Next, they are working together for Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming romantic drama Tamasha, which is expected to release on November 27. As of now, the shoot for the movie is temporarily halted as Ranbir is busy promoting Bombay Velvet, and Deepika is basking compliments for Shoojit Sircar’s Piku.
